Banana are in the form of a long curved cylinder. The lower end is reduced to a point and the top has a thick trunk that gives the fruit to the inflorescence stem. A small group of bananas is called Bananas hands. Bananas Hands are known collectively as clusters.Banana skin is soft and thick, and often has a few vertical ridges that run the length of the fruit. The flesh is creamy white and soft. Bananas grow in large clusters near the top of the banana plants.
