Lemons are oval shape citrus fruits with porous smooth skin. Some fruits have a sharp point at the bottom of the fruit, lemons while others, such as Florida lemons are rounded to the base. Ponderosa lemons are quite larger than the other varieties seem oblong grapefruit and lemon fruits. Lemon fruit colors vary from greenish yellow to bright yellow.
